 Later, on the same day I got the news the biopsy was cancer, a sweet friend came over to hang out with me. She thought it would be a good escape for me if we went to Cheaha State Park the next day, I agreed. I didn't realize this meant she would be driving or I may have politely said, "No!" :-) By the way, Cheaha State Park is definitely a must if you are looking for a cool experience and love the outdoors.

 I woke up on Tuesday, November the 3rd scheduled to work out of town, but a small whisper kept telling me not to go. I convinced myself there was no way I'd get a call this quick, so I picked up my boss and another coworker and off we went. It was approaching lunchtime when I received a telephone call from a familiar number. I excused myself from the conference room table, asking the gentleman we were working with if I could use his office for a moment.
 Most of you that know me, know this about me. I love Jesus! I love to joke and I like all things Bama. Well, when my doctor recommended I get both, a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. I scheduled them both for 10/31/2019, thinking I would never forget having this done to me on Nick Saban's birthday. Well as it turns out I would never forget this day for another reason.
