MEET RANDY... (In his own words)
"I HELP THE AVERAGE PERSON CREATE TOTAL LIFE FREEDOM THROUGH NETWORK MARKETING. I AM READY TO START BUILDING WITH YOU!" ~ RANDY HOLLINGSWORTH

I won't bore you with the details. Well, yes I will! My journey to entrepreneurship started like those of so many other entrepreneurs. There was a need in the marketplace and I had a strong desire to fill the need.
So, what was the need? In the third grade I discovered the greatest treat ever invented. The Fun Bun! Imagine a Chick-Fil-A dinner roll with chocolate icing on the top. The kind of icing on a chocolate iced glazed donut. I'm telling you these things were amazing! To a 3rd grader, Life Changing. LOL Here's the thing. They were only .25 cents each, but I am telling you .25 cents in my home back then was equivalent to several dollars. One of the things I discovered was how to find lost money. I started going to the laundry mat with a fly swatter and would run it under the machines. Sounds crazy, right? You would be amazed at the quarters lost forever, well not really forever. |
Then I added recycling cans to the list and eventually graduated to carrying my fly swatter to the gas station my mom worked at during this time. One time I scored a $20 bill. That's a lot of fun buns! However, I didn't keep it.
Then I made the motherload of discoveries. The bench seat in the car we owned was like a vacuum for sucking change out of pockets. I would go out there almost weekly and run my hands down between the cushions, almost always finding some shiny silver coins. You see, I'd do anything for these fun buns, and I was tired of always being disappointed as I passed them in the cafeteria line.
This entrepreneurial desire finally culminated into the greatest bootleg product ever created that wasn't abolished. Cinnamon Sticks. I don't remember how the idea came about, but I decided to start making and selling bags of cinnamon sticks. All you needed was a pie pan, toothpicks, and cinnamon oil. The cinnamon oil back then was sold through the pharmacy, and it was behind the counter. Other than it being hot, I am not sure why this was the case. I didn't care either, I was a kid. Each bag sold represented two fun buns! Hit me up if you need the exact details to make these yourself! LOL

MAIL-ORDER BUSINESS - 1990
I was a pretty good basketball player in high school, but I wasn't the best student. My grades did improve after I was adopted at 15, but I still really didn't like school. I wanted to be my own boss and to an 18-year old that is extremely selfish that can be a dangerous thing. I was offered basketball scholarships and at the time signed with a school. However, school at this time just wasn't my thing. I ended up leaving after the first quarter.
My journey to entrepreneurship started pretty much right after my departure. I was up late one night and come across an infomercial featuring Tom Bosley, the actor that |
played the father on Happy Days. What? For $25 I could start my own business! Wow, I jumped right in. Oddly enough while there are negative things online today about SMC, which SMC may no longer exist, I found everything to be exactly as advertised. The magazines with the products were nice, the products were unique and I think I made 50% on each sale. This idea morphed into my next venture into the world of Network Marketing.
PRODUCTS INTERNATIONAL INC. - 1996
In 1996 after being around the Network Marketing Industry for a few years I decided I could do that and I transitioned my Mail-Order business into a Network Marketing business. I was even featured on the cover of the business section of my local newspaper. Which at the time was one of the largest if not the largest in the state. (See the pic)
I had more people asking me how I pulled off being on the cover than about my actual business. LOL I will admit, while patting myself on the back it was a pretty ingenious move on my part. I don't toot my own horn often, but this was a pretty good maneuver. I will say it also brought with it a lot of interest. However, if I am willing to toot my own horn I must also give you the bad and knock myself off of my high horse. We had some |
great months, but my selfishness got the best of me, mixed in with pride and the business didn't survive long after. This led to a long road of humbleness, repentance, and discovery. I realized I was living to glorify myself instead of God.
THE MINISTRY - 2006
I won't share the long, but crazy story of how I got started in the ministry, but if we ever have the opportunity to meet feel free to ask because I love sharing it, but it's a little lengthy. When I was adopted, one of the first things my family did was share the gospel of Jesus Christ with me. After that I had 3 great loves, Jesus, Basketball and Entrepreneurship. The problem was, not necessarily in that order.
In 2006/2007 I decided I needed to focus on ministry and walk away from home-based businesses. They were too |
distracting and my success always seemed to be limited like it wasn't meant to be. I became a Youth Pastor for around 4 years, which led to me becoming a pastor for 4 years. I loved serving people and in the ministry. However, I had this strong desire for entrepreneurship that I was desperately praying to God to remove it. It only intensified. As I prayed I realized all of the great entrepreneurs that served the Lord and His purposes through business. I realized that business wasn't the problem, my ability to keep God first was the problem. I believe that God in these moments was shaping me to realize nothing will ever be as peaceful and as fruitful as possible if He is not at the center of it.
REAL ESTATE - 2015
Toward the end of 2015 I decided to take my entrepreneurial talents into the world of Real Estate. Keeping God first, He showed up and He showed out. I finished real estate school towards the end of 2015 and somehow had two closings before 2016. Keep in mind I worked a full time job in the software industry. 2016 came and as a part time agent working around 8 hours a week I closed 15 or 16 deals, which equaled nearly $3 Million Dollars in production and put me near the Top 10 out of 120 agents in our office. Even beating quite a few full time agents. I can assure you all I brought to the table was hustle, God opened up the doors, I just ran through them.
|
After a few years I realized this wasn't quite what I was looking for in my career. I was helping people in a sense, but not in the way or the level I hoped. Something was missing and it took me a while and a side journey to realize what it was that was missing from my life.
CANCER - 2019/2020
Imagine finally getting to a place where you thought you were about to start an amazing journey in life and business, only to discover you have stage 3 colon cancer. For some of you this may be a reality, life can throw some tremendous adversity at us. I went from a highpoint in life to an operating table 3 days before Thanksgiving in 2019 to have a colon resection. In January of 2020 I started 12 rounds, each round about 52 hours of chemo for the next 6 months.
Just when you think it can't get worse COVID-19 decides to rear it's ugly head and wreak havoc on just about every corner of the world. 2020 was tough for a lot of people, but some of us had an extra challenge or two. I won't go into the details other than to praise God I have been in remission for almost a year now. The crazy part? I only thought I was close to God before |
this journey, this journey was an an opportunity to grow more deeper with Him than I ever thought possible. The people I met as we walked this battle together were life changing moments. Some didn't make it, but I promise you, they will never be forgotten. This doesn't make sense to many people, and the journey was tough, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Many blessings have come and continue to come through this experience.
network marketing - 2021
I will admit, when I decided to get back into this industry that I have both loved and hated for close to 31 years now it was just going to be in a training/coaching role. However, after my battle with cancer and taking countless supplements to build up my immunity and to take better care of myself overall I ended up finding a home as a distributor.
I wasn't looking, but the right company, with the right products somehow found me and I am thankful they did. Now I welcome the opportunity to partner with you as your mentor and most importantly, your friend. |
